About Lent 2010

This year we are striving to achieve much more than abstaining from something during Lent.  We as a community at Irvine Pres desire to give back.  This year we are asking you to give something up. However, instead of just abstaining from something, we’re asking you to donate the money and or time you would have been spending, and give it towards a service trip to Mexico.

This site is a place for you to tell your story and to let us know how this time is affecting you, as well as read stories from others who are being touched by this season. This is also a place for you to easily donate to our mission to build houses in Mexico. The “Serve” button  will take you to a registration form to sign up for the trip.  Click on the “give” button to contribute using our online donations page, or use the “share” button submit a story on how Lent is affecting you.
